Years ago I took a leap of faith, leaving behind a successful career in the entertainment business to pursue my passion for wine - and all the unknowns that came with it. After earning my Sommelier credentials, I longed to deepen my connection with the land. Domaine Ott opened its doors and it was at this historic house of rosé, with its three distinguishable estates in Provence, that the concept of terroir - the power of “place” - took hold of me. I knew then that wine was my calling. That through the world of wine, I could quench my thirst to learn and liaise with my Mediterranean roots and in so doing, share my discoveries along the way...

I began importing in 2009, founding Caroline Debbané Selections. My journey was to be that of a diplomat’s - like my father - but on a distinct path. Traveling extensively, I seek artisans who are passionate and traditional in their winemaking philosophies, dedicated to producing wines expressive of terroir. I favor autochthonous varietals and minimal intervention in the cellar. No less important is my commitment to supporting sustainable, organic and biodynamic farming methods. As such, I partner with growers who share in my love and respect for our Earth. But above and beyond all of this, I represent individuals with whom I have a genuine affinity - a communion of spirit - because in the end, this journey is about people.

And so I am uncompromising in my ongoing search for excellence and integrity. I stand proudly with this collective of vintners and their selected portfolios of wines, as I believe they are amongst the best of their regions. And as their ambassador, I aim only to be true to their stories, their vision, their labors of love.
